Meet Holly Shipp!  Holly lives in East Sacramento in a home that's been in the same family since the 1960's.  I recently caught up with Holly and here's what she had to say:

Question:  How long have you lived in East Sacramento?
Answer:  “I have resided in the same home which is family owned for almost 17 years. My home belonged to my late Grandfather’s Aunt Thelma who previously lived here since the 60’s.  I’ve raised my 15 year old daughter here who has attended Caleb Greenwood in River Park and presently attends Kit Carson Academy.

Q:  What’s your favorite restaurant in East Sac?
A:  “Our favorite East Sac Restaurant is definitely The Shack. Always a fun dog friendly atmosphere and GREAT food for all!”

Q:  What do you do for a living?
A:  “I am a full time Personal Nanny for an audacious family of three kids. As a veterinary technician by degree, I enjoy spending my extra time pet sitting and hanging out with all types of animals. Being as I was a stay at home Mom through my daughter's younger years, I’ve pursued what I truly love by  providing care for many East Sac families and beyond throughout the years.”

Q:  What’s at the top of your bucket list?
A:  "At the top of my bucket list currently is to refurbish a motor home and travel abroad with my best friend/partner.”

Q:  What do you like to do for fun?
A:  "We enjoy everything from the safe neighborhoods to the giant sycamore trees, camellias and diversity of the residents.”

Q:  If you could wave a magic wand and change anything about East Sacramento, what would it be?
A:  “If I could change anything here in East Sacramento, it would be to bring back the caring smiles that have diminished over the last couple of years.  East Sacramento is a magical place to LIVE!
