As some of you may know, I serve on the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Fair Housing Committee for the Sacramento Association of REALTORS®. Last Saturday we hosted a first time home buyer's expo and it was my privilege to volunteer at this event.
We had over 200 attendees participate, along with over 26 vendors passing out swag, home buying information, and tons of raffle prizes. Sponsors included Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, C.A.R, Golden State Finance Authority, and AREAA - Asian Real Estate Association of America.
Each guest received a down payment assistance programs booklet with information on numerous programs to help achieve the dream of home ownership. I had a blast seeing so many families
given the opportunity to learn, grow, and enjoy themselves!
A yummy catered lunch was provided, along with healthy and sweet snacks, and there was even a a gelato truck, balloon sculpting and face painting!
Channel 10 even came out to interview our CEO, Jessica Coates.
