Brownstones at Curtis Park Village

The Brownstones at Curtis Park Village offer buyers something a little different in central Sacramento: newer construction with a more urban architectural feel, located between the established neighborhoods of Curtis Park and Land Park.

Curtis Park Village is a mixed-use infill community developed on a former rail-yard site. The Brownstones are one of several residential styles within the development and can be a good fit for buyers who want newer housing while remaining close to some of Sacramento’s older, tree-lined neighborhoods.

When I first toured the Brownstones, I was struck by how different they felt from much of Sacramento’s traditional housing stock. The architecture felt more cosmopolitan and urban, while the location still offered easy access to Curtis Park, Land Park, Midtown and downtown Sacramento.

The community also has nearby shopping and dining, including Safeway, and convenient access to the Broadway, Freeport and Land Park corridors.

The Brownstones may appeal to buyers looking for newer construction, a more contemporary style, potentially less exterior upkeep than many older homes, and proximity to central Sacramento amenities. They may also be worth considering for someone downsizing from a larger home who wants to remain close to the city rather than moving farther into the suburbs.

I’ve watched Curtis Park Village evolve considerably since I first toured these homes. What was once a new development surrounded by established neighborhoods has become a much more complete community.

If you’re considering buying or selling in Curtis Park Village, Curtis Park or Land Park, I’m happy to help you compare current sales, values and the different housing options in the area.
